Digital payments keep working. UPI, cards, net banking, NEFT and RTGS run every day, including bank holidays. Only branch work and cheque clearing stop.
Banks also close on every Sunday. A holiday that falls on a second or fourth Saturday or a Sunday does not move to another day.
