Terms of use

These terms apply to the Saifu website (saifu.in) and the Saifu app. By using them you agree to these terms. Saifu is run by its founder under the name Optional Labs. Contact: hello@saifu.in.

1. What Saifu is

Saifu helps you understand and compare credit cards and work out money questions with calculators and articles. It is an information and education service. Read the Disclaimer: it is part of these terms.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older to send a guest post or to apply for any card through a link on Saifu. The app and website are meant for people in India.

3. Accuracy

We take card details from banks' own pages and try to keep them current, but we cannot promise they are complete, current or free of errors. The bank's own terms always win. Calculators give estimates.

4. Links to banks and partners

Apply and Official page buttons take you to sites run by banks or affiliate partners. Their terms and privacy policies apply there; Saifu does not control them and is not responsible for their content, decisions or how they treat your data. Affiliate links are labelled, and commission never changes rankings.

5. What you may not do

Do not use Saifu, or post anything through it, that:

• belongs to someone else, or that you have no right to share;
• is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene or harmful to children;
• impersonates a person, a bank or a government body;
• infringes a patent, trademark, copyright or other right;
• breaks any law in force, or threatens the unity, security or sovereignty of India or public order;
• contains a virus or any code meant to damage or interfere with a computer;
• is a stock or fund tip, a promise of returns, or a referral or affiliate link of your own.

Do not scrape the site in a way that harms it, try to break its security, or send automated submissions. If you break these terms we may remove your content and block your access.

6. Guest posts

When you send a post you confirm that it is your own original work, that the facts in it are true to the best of your knowledge, and that it follows the writing rules. You keep the copyright. You give Saifu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to edit, publish, and keep publishing it on Saifu with your name, and to share links to it. We may decline, edit or remove any post. You can ask us to take your post down at any time and we will do so within 30 days. You are responsible for what you write, and you agree to make good any loss Saifu suffers because a post you sent infringed someone's rights or broke the law.

7. Our content

The site's text, design, data compilation and code belong to Saifu or its licensors. You may share links and short quotes with credit. Card names and logos belong to their banks and are used only to identify the cards.

8. Liability

Saifu is provided as it is, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, Saifu is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the information, calculators or links, or from a bank's or partner's decision. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal data is in the Privacy policy.

10. Grievances

Complaints about content on Saifu, or about these terms, go to the Grievance Officer. Details and timelines are on the Grievances page.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Saifu after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
