RBI repo rate changes

The repo rate is what RBI charges banks. When it falls, loan rates linked to it fall within about three months; when it rises, EMIs rise. The next decision is due on 7 October 2026.

Small savings rates by quarter

The government sets these every quarter. PPF and Sukanya Samriddhi rates apply to the whole balance from the new quarter; NSC, KVP and term deposits keep the rate they started with.
