SBI Card and Eternal, the company that owns Zomato, Blinkit and District, launched a new credit card on 15 October 2026. It is called the Eternal SBI Card. SBI Card shared the details with the stock exchanges, as reported by The Week and Business Today. Here is what it costs, what you get and how to apply.
Fees
- Joining fee: ₹499. It comes with six months of Zomato Gold free.
- Yearly fee: ₹499, as reported by Live From A Lounge and ScanX. It is waived if you spend ₹2 lakh in the previous year. That is about ₹16,667 a month. How fee waivers work.
- The card comes on Mastercard and RuPay.
Discounts on Eternal apps
These are instant discounts, taken off the bill when you pay with the card:
- 10% on Zomato, District and Bistro.
- 10% on Blinkit electronics and beauty products, and 5% on other eligible Blinkit orders. Tobacco, infant food and gold or silver jewellery are left out.
- A cap of ₹2,000 a month for all these discounts together. To use the full cap at 10%, you would spend ₹20,000 a month on these apps.
- Movies: buy one, get one on District once a month, with up to ₹200 off the second ticket.
Cashback on other spends
Cashback is added to your card account when the monthly statement is made:
- 5% on Uber, ixigo, Urban Company and Apollo 24|7, up to ₹1,000 a month. You reach the cap at ₹20,000 of spend on these.
- 1% on other eligible spends, up to ₹500 a month. You reach the cap at ₹50,000 of spend.
- Live From A Lounge reported that fuel, wallet loads, rent, taxes, insurance, jewellery, education, utilities, gaming and EMIs earn no cashback.
Other features
- Fuel surcharge waiver of 1%, up to ₹200 a statement cycle.
- Foreign currency markup of 3.5%, as reported by Live From A Lounge.
How to apply
You can ask for early access in the Zomato, Blinkit or District app now. SBI Card will send invitations to apply in phases from 22 October 2026. Approval depends on SBI Card's checks, such as your credit score and income.
Before you apply
The card pays back most if you already spend a lot on Zomato and Blinkit. The ₹2,000, ₹1,000 and ₹500 monthly caps limit what you can save, so check them against your own bills. Compare it with a card you may already have, such as the SBI Cashback card or the Swiggy Ornge HDFC Bank card. The final terms are in SBI Card's key fact statement, which you get with the card.
